School bus `egged'
yesterday.
It is understood the bus was smeared with eggs and the female driver had to endure foul language as the vehicle travelled from CedarBridge Academy to St.
George's.
No-one from the Public Transportation Board was available to confirm the incident but CedarBridge principal Ernest Payette vowed to take severe action if the culprits are found to come from his school.
A member of the public, who witnessed the aftermath of the havoc, said no parents or Police were riding on the bus.
He said the mess was so bad that the vehicle could not be used after it reached St. George's.
Police said no reports on the incident had been received.
Egg attack Mr. Payette said he had not heard of any trouble in the afternoon.
He confirmed that parents and teachers had been riding on the buses, but said not all vehicles were covered.
And threats of disciplinary action against any students caught would hold true, he said.
"We were quite happy with the end of the day,'' he said. "But if we find out and know who they are, we will put those things into place.''
