several prison officers.

Ms Ella-Grace Goodchild -- who joined the prison service in 1979 -- has been promoted to chief officer. Ms Goodchild was promoted to divisional officer in 1987. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and she has attended training courses both locally and overseas. She has worked primarily at the Co-ed Facility and has also served as a tutor at the officers' training school.

Ms Gloria Tucker has also been promoted to chief officer in-charge of the Co-ed Facility. Ms Tucker -- who joined the Prison Service in 1977 and was promoted to divisional officer in 1982 and to principal officer in 1994 -- has a BA in sociology and a Masters in human resources development. She has also attended training courses both locally and overseas.

Mr. Clarence Davis has been promoted to principal officer. Mr. Davis joined the Prison Service in 1984 and was promoted to divisional officer in 1994. He had worked extensively at the Co-ed Facility and at Casemates and now at Westgate Correctional Facility. He has been posted to the staff training section.

Mr. Ronnie Harrell has also been promoted to principal officer. Mr. Harrell joined the prison service in 1979 and was promoted to divisional officer in 1994. He has worked in numerous postings at the Prison Farm and at Casemates.

He is now stationed at Westgate Correctional Facility.

Mr. Lionel Young has been promoted to principal officer. Mr. Young joined the Prison Service in 1984 and was promoted to divisional officer in 1994. He has worked at the Co-ed Facility, at Casemates, and now at Westgate Correctional Facility.

Mr. Shawn Bailey was promoted to divisional officer. Mr. Bailey, who joined the Prison Service in 1988, has worked at Casemates and is now stationed at Westgate Correctional Facility.

Ms Keeva-Mae Joell-Benjamin has been promoted to divisional officer. Ms Joell-Benjamin joined the Prison Service in 1991. She has worked at the Co-ed Facility and at the Westgate Correctional Facility. She has been posted to the Co-ed Facility.

Ms Deborah Smith has been promoted to divisional officer. Ms Smith joined the Prison Service in 1977. She has worked at the Female Prison, the Co-ed Facility, and is now stationed at the Westgate Correctional Facility.

Mr. Clyde Wilson has also been promoted to divisional officer. Mr. Wilson joined the Prison Service in 1985. He too has worked at Casemates, Co-ed Facility, and is now at the Westgate Correctional Facility.
