Shona, nine, who attends Bermuda High School, was with her parents Pam and Ross at the Pops concert at Dockyard on Sunday to see her father perform.

While there she met Mr. Trott and got attached to one of his sculptures.

Her mother said: "Shona wanted to buy it, but Mr. Trott said it was a one off and not for sale. We stood talking to him for a while, and in the end Mr.

Trott said she could have the dog as a present. She was absolutely delighted.

"It was with us all day when we settled down to watch the concert, but then, strangely, when we got up to leave it had gone.

"Shona was desperately upset -- she wailed all the way home. She has been very sad since, and we just thought if someone had found it, it would be nice to get it returned.'' If anyone has found the three-inch cedar wooden dog, they can call Mrs.

Cruickshank on 237-1184, or her husband on 235-5860.
