Students can still visit Carib Art

Bermuda, has two more weeks of its run to go, no more schoolchildren have been slated to see it, one of the exhibition's organisers said.

Bermudian students have made up a large chunk of the visitors to the 137-piece art extravaganza since it opened in three separate venues last month.

But Ms Ora Bainbridge of the National Gallery, where some of the works are being housed, said that no school tours of any kind have been scheduled between now and the Carib Art closing date of June 16.

"I realise that it's final exam time for many students,'' Ms Bainbridge said, "but it would be a shame if the show went unattended by any more young people''.

Any school that is interested in organising a tour for its students can do so by calling 295-9428.
