Among the presentations were the first ever Sun Life $2,000 education awards given to students Jose Osset and Eric Symonds. Mr. Osset is majoring in marketing at Bryant College and Miss Symonds is studying marketing at Rutgers University.

Meanwhile, Paget Troake and Daniel Frith have received awards from The D.J.

Dempster Fund for the Performing Arts. Miss Troake is entering her fourth year at the Italia Conte Academy of Theatre Arts in London and Mr. Frith is majoring in drama at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.

And the Kardias Club donated $1,500 to The Eugenie Brown Continuing Education Fund, which covers training expenses for hospital staff in areas such as housekeeping, diet and laundry.
