Talent show planned
see if they have what it takes to make it in the international music world at a local showcase next month.
And according to the organisers -- A Better Life Industries, MAI Productions, and JCM Entertainment Ltd. -- "Chances 97'' will allow Bermuda's "finest'' to shine in front of the entire Island and top US recording executives, such as Ruff House Records vice president Jeffrey Wells, Geffen Records A & R Grover Washington III, and writer/producer Maylon (Nightbird) Brunson.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Bermuda Physically Handicapped Association, The Lighthouse, and Hope Homes for the mentally challenged.
"Chances 97'' will feature the bands on June 15 at the New Mount Airy Club and vocalists on June 16 at St. Paul's Centennial Hall.
