John Tucker, Patricia Price, David Semos and Wayne Raynor all received the 1997 Lockward Award.

Each recipient will receive their award in two parts: a personal award of $100 and a charitable award of $1,000 which will be donated to the registered charity of their choice.

Mr. Tucker, who coaches the Southampton Rangers soccer team, serves on the Bermuda Cricket Board of Control and organises the Ed Sherlock 5-mile run, will donate his award to the Brangman Home.

Mrs. Price represented Bermuda in 34 years of bowling and will be donating her award to the Ladies Cubitt Compassionate Association.

Mr. Semos plays an active role in the running of the Bermuda Boys Brigade and will be donating his award to the Society for the Blind.

Mr. Raynor held various posts within the Southampton Rangers Sports Club and has been the Secretary of the Western County Cup Competition. He will be donating his award to the Sunshine League.

*** It's scholarship time again and Meeting Professionals International - Mid-Atlantic Chapter is offering a year's scholarship at the Bermuda College.

Applicants must be second year students in the Hospitality Management or Business Administration Programme who have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.

Application forms can be obtained from Sheridan Talbot at the Bermuda College.

Closing date for applications is July 31.
