Time to make a date with Brazilian singer Cesar

Nilton Ce msar will give one concert at City Hall Theatre on February 24, thanks to Mr. Eddie De Mello, who is handling the arrangements.
The artist was born in Ituiutaba in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, and at age 17 left the city in search of his great dream. While still a student in Rio de Janeiro, he divided his time between books and music, always gaining good marks.
In 1962 a friend invited him to Sa qo Paulo, and his professional career was born.
Ce msar produced his first record for RCE, and later for such labels as Continental RCA Victor and Copacabana. Today he also records with Dismusica in Toronto, Canada.
With 32 LPs to his credit, some of them in Spanish, Ce msar's work is divided between Brazil and other countries. He has earned 12 gold records, and his big hits in Brazil include Professor apaixonado (Professor in Love), Ferias na I Mndia (Holidays in India), A namorada que sonhei (The Girlfriend I Dreamed Of), Felicidade (Happiness). Among his hits in other South American countries are: Lenita, Nunca mas, and Tu te vas.
Sharing the programme with Ce msar will be a local surprise group of Brazilian samba dancers, as well as the Portuguese Cultural Association Dancers, Sweet Girls, and Hot Dancers.
Complimentary cocktails and hors d'oeuvres from 7 p.m. to 7.45 p.m. will precede the February 24 concert.
