United Dancers promise more flair with Chaos II
United Dance Productions presents "Chaos II'' -- which promises to be better than the first.
Those who saw the first show earlier this spring definitely do not want to miss this sequel, which kicks off Thursday, August 13, at 8 p.m. and runs to the 15th at City Hall.
Organiser Suzette Harvey told The Royal Gazette : "What we did is take pieces from our repertoire that we did a few years ago and made some improvements and added a new piece which is choreographed by Hope Boykin of Philadanco. She will also perform.'' Also the international artists who took part in `Chaos' are returning to perform a new piece.
"We have also brought in an additional female dancer who will perform with the local company and also with the international guest artists,'' Miss Harvey said.
She added: "We will also have the tap piece called `Clash', `Relations', and solo `This Woman's Work', and `Kiskadees'.
"In all, there will be four pieces from the old show and every thing else will be new.'' Miss Harvey said members of her dance company just came back from Philadelphia. "Everyone worked hard and their techniques have improved tremendously so the quality of the show will be even better.'' Tickets for Chaos II are on sale at City Hall between Monday and Friday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
