The man, whose yacht is currently berthed at the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club, was attended to by both Police and ambulance crews at the scene and was then conveyed to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

He is reported to be in stable condition after undergoing tests later in the day.

Also yesterday afternoon around 4 p.m., Police and ambulance crews rushed to the aid of a Works and Engineering employee. The 57-year-old had fallen from the rear of a trash truck, striking his head during the fall.

He sustained head wounds and was conveyed to hospital for treatment.
