Is homeless when you sit on the wall next to people you don't know, Or when you're talking to yourself with no other place to go? Is homeless when you have no food or nothing else to drink, or if you are at home and have no bed or kitchen sink? Is homeless when you walk around in filthy dirty rags and have the rest of all your clothes in two big black trash bags? Is homeless when you're sitting by yourself and have cried and cried, Because there is no one else to talk to cuase everybody's died? Is homeless when you're sitting on the curb from day to day Waiting for someone, To come and walk your way? Is homeless when you walk around in only shoes and socks And have no other place to stay except a cardboard box? Is homeless when you're sitting on the bench up in the park, And you end up sitting there all day until it gets real dark?
