Eight months ago Grejai Smith decided to use the money given to her on her birthday to assist young children in need.

She founded No Child Goes Without, a charity which gives school lunches, school supplies and uniforms to children whose parents would struggle to provide them on their own.

The organisation also provides funds to families to offset the cost of summer day camp.

A fundraiser in aid of the charity will be held tomorrow evening when Ms Smith and her team of volunteers will hold a potluck supper at the Bermuda Public Services Union building, on the corner of Angle Street and Cedar Avenue.

The dinner begins at 4 p.m. and runs until 8 p.m. A donation of $12 is asked for the supper.
