A photographic exhibition 'At Home and Abroad' is up for a few remaining days at the Bermuda Society of Arts.

Dr. Jolene Bean and Barbara O'Shaughnessy's work is on display in the Edinburgh Gallery.

Ms Bean explained that most of the photographs in her collection were taken at home.

"The purpose of this collection is to draw your attention to local scenes that you might otherwise pass by without a second glance," she said.

"Hopefully, you'll take a moment to look closely at my work and see the beauty in ordinary things."

While Ms O'Shaughnessy's work represents her various journeys.

"When I look at the faces of the people, animals and places I have captured through my lens, I feel transported back to that time and place," she said.

"Sometimes you just have a brief moment to capture the expression: the image makes it a memory forever."

'At Home and Abroad' will finish on October 14.
