Bridal Fair to be the biggest and best yet

Bermuda brides and grooms will have a chance to win airline tickets and honeymoon travel vouchers at `Bridal Fair 2001!' on January 14 at Dockyard.

The annual event, which is the Island's largest and oldest running Bridal Fair, is hosted by Bermuda Weddings and Special Events who have hosted the event for the last six years.

This week, they confirmed with Global Travel that brides and grooms who attend the fair will have a chance to win several special prizes including airline tickets from Air Canada, British Airways, Continental Airlines and US Air.

Also up for grabs is a travel voucher toward a honeymoon package with Global Travel, and organisers have said this year has the largest number of prizes ever offered for brides and grooms attending the fair.

Shelly Hamill, professional bridal consultant and owner of Bermuda Weddings & Special Events said: "We are thrilled with the enthusiasm that Global Travel has shown toward the Bridal Fair 2001!. Their support helps to make the show the huge success that it is.'' Interest in the Bridal Fair has also seen a rise on the side of the participating vendors with a third of available spaces already booked.

Booth spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis until January 8. The fair will take place in the Clocktower Mall in Dockyard from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and admission is $15 for adults and $5 for children.
