Art meets fashion at the Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art next Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., when fall fashions from European label Joseph Ribkoff will be shown. The clothing is stocked at 27th Century Boutique, which is partnering with Masterworks to stage the event.

Models will parade street and partywear for men and women sized four to 20.

"The clothes are very chic, well-designed, fit perfectly, and use great fabrics, " Masterworks coordinator of the event, Shaunay Symonds says. "Ribkoff just received an award for being one of the best companies in Europe."

Dame Jennifer Smith will be the commentator, and there will also be musical entertainment.

"It is going to be a really great evening," Ms Symonds says. "The models will be different ages and sizes, not your typical fashion models, and we are showcasing a collection for all women and men of all ages. We want everyone to come and have a relaxing evening to start off their weekend."

The event is also designed to highlight how the different levels of the Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art and surrounding grounds can be used for a variety of events, Ms Symonds added.

Tickets ($35 including champagne cocktails) are available from 27th Century Boutique, and Masterworks in the Botanical Gardens between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
