The Ace Gallery, Ace Building, 17 Woodbourne Avenue, Hamilton Employee art exhibition 'Vacations and Staycations' is on until December 16. Exhibition features 36 works of art all created by Ace employees and their families. Opening on December 17, 'Behind the Mask' by artist Wayne (Tony) DeSilva.

Ace Building Lobby: Alfred Birdsey An exhibition of paintings by Alfred Birdsey from the Collection of E. Michael Jones is on until December 31. The gallery is open to Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. except by appointment. Groups should call for an appointment 295-5200.

Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard Until December 4: 'Lines'. The exhibit explores what a line means to the artists. Gallery hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, including Sundays. Admission free. Further information: 234-2809.

BSoA Workshops for Children: 'Out of the X-Box – Creative Workshops for Children', for children aged six to 12. Saturday morning classes. Designed to get children out from behind their computer screens, this creative art workshops with Ami Zanders will have a new and exciting project every week including wall hangings, accordion books and baskets. Whilst making these creations, students will learn a range of skills from printmaking, weaving, wool painting, tie-dye and batik. All materials are supplied.
