Famous for 15 Minutes auditions tonight
Auditions for the annual playwrighting festival 'Famous for 15 Minutes' are set to start tonight.
The auditions will take place at the Bermuda School of Music in the Old Berkeley Institute complex from 6 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. today and tomorrow. 'Famous for 15 Minutes' will take place at the Daylesford Theatre from August 12 to August 21. The audition call is for anyone over 16 years old.
The final six plays are: 'Cockroaches' by Owain Johnston-Barnes (directed by Liz Knight); 'Chance Encounter' by Henry Godfrey (directed by Bob Duffy); 'Long Engagement' by Liz Jones (directed by Mike Hind); 'I Heart You Brady McGrady' (by Andrew Stoneham (directed by Nicole Burgess); 'The Slip' by Karenmary Penn (directed by Jenn Stervinou) and 'The Mason' by Kevin Comeau (directed by Deborah Smith-Joell).
Audition Material will be available at Daylesford Theatre, which is open after 5 p.m. or from www.bmds.bm
Rehearsals start on July 5.
