KatKids Christmas Market opens on Friday at BAA gym

The KatKids Christmas Market 2009 will take place on Friday featuring Nepalese and Ugandan arts, crafts and jewellery.

The Kathmandu Kids Club and The ISIS Foundation annual event takes place at the Bermuda Athletic Association Gym from 5.30 p.m. until late. All the proceeds will go to The Kathmandu Kids Club.

There will be Christmas carols as well as African drummer Dr. Larry Trott, who has an interactive presentation called 'Moving the Spirit With Drumming'.

On stage from 8.30 p.m. will be the live music debut of blues band 'Bones', which features Neil Burnie, Graham Pewter, Rick Hawke, Andrew Chamberlain and David Skinner.

Mulled wine will also be on hand along with drinks at happy hour prices and food, which will includes Nepalese and African fare.
