Night of Praise concert

A special concert is to take place tomorrow to help raise money for families facing huge medical bills.

Russ Ford is organising the Night of Praise which will benefit Gabriel Wilkinson, the son of Sharon and Gary Wilkinson, and the children of Tamara Casado.

Mrs. Wilkinson is the educational coordinator for the Department of Corrections and Mrs. Casado is a case manager/assessment officer.

"Both of their family members have had to see neurosurgeons and other specialists," said Mr. Ford. "And this will continue into the future.

"The organising committee wishes to express its heartfelt appreciation on behalf of the families who have had to endure much mental, financial and physical stress whilst standing by their loved ones.

"The Department of Corrections' family is committed on behalf of the Commissioner and Minister to reach out to our staff and members of the community that are in need.

"Events such as these only help to bring us closer and fulfils the meaning of mankind's existence which is 'Service to Humanity'.

Artist's including Toni Robinson and Twanee Butterfield will take to the stage at the Heritage Worship Centre tomorrow.

"This is a Gospel concert and all performers will be singing praises to the all mighty," he said.

Tickets are $10 for students and seniors, general admission $30 and patrons $50 (all tickets except the patron tickets, rise by $5 if bought on the door). Tickets are available from the Heritage Bookstore, Cesar's Pharmacy, People's Pharmacy, the Adventist Bookstore and Committee Members.
