Two Bermudians have received top academic awards at the New England Institute of Technology in Warwick, Rhode Island.

Tristan J. Richardson received the Best of Tech award in NEIT's Information Technology programme at the college's 13th annual Best of Tech ceremony held on April 23.

J. Rick Maronie was awarded the Outstanding Achievement in Writing in Communications Award in NEIT's Academic Writing course.

Dominic Antonio Paiva has graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees .

Mr. Paiva, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Paiva of Idle Acres Road, Smith's, was awarded his degreeson June 5 at RISD's Commencement Ceremonies in Providence, Rhode Island.
