Amy Dot Peniston of Pembroke has been named to the Dean's List for the spirng semester at the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.

Ms Peniston, the daughter of David and Denise Peniston, is a former student of Bermuda High School for Girls and is majoring in biomedical engineering in the Class of 2012.

At the Pratt School of Engineering, students must rank in the top third of their academic class to make the dean's list.
