Jason L.T. Cooper

Jason L.T. Cooper, son of Michelle and the late David A.T. Cooper, a long-time employee of LP Gutteridge, graduated in June, 2009 from Carleton University, Ottawa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. Mr. Cooper, the grandson of the late Eva G. Cooper, is now a Corporal in the Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa (Canadian Army Reserve Force Unit) and has volunteered for service in Afghanistan where he will be deployed in March, 2010.

Troy B. Trott of Devonshire and Katrina S. Darrell of Southampton have been named to the Dean's List of New England Institute of Technology for the quarter ending September 26.

To be named to the Dean's List at the Warwick, Rhode Island technical college, students must attain a grade-point average of 3.6 or higher on a maximum scale of 4.0.

Micah Galen Allen received his Master's Degree in Philosophy this summer from the University of Hertfordshire in England.

Mr. Allen, a former Mount Saint Agnes student and the son of William Allen Jr., grandson of Sharon Ray Allen and great-grandson of the late Percy and Dorothy Ray, is now pursuing his doctorate on full scholarship at Aarhus University in Arhus, Denmark.

In the past year he has presented research in the cognitive sciences at symposiums in Vienna, Florida and Massachusetts.

He is due to graduate in 2012 with a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience, his research primarily focuses on brain plasticity and cognition.
