Who is `Dr. Alex'?

Master's degree in immunology from Queen's University in Ontario, and his medical degree from the University of Western Ontario. He completed specialty training in Paediatrics at Minnesota's Mayo Clinic and The Children's Hospital in London, Ontario. He holds a Certification from the American Board of Pediatrics (1997), and a Pediatrics Specialist certificate from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (1998). His specialty training includes Pediatric Haemotology and Oncology at Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children. He has collaborated with researchers at Harvard Medical School, and in his final year was made Chief Fellow at the Hospital for Sick Children. In addition to his paediatric experience, Dr. Barron is the only paediatrician in Bermuda who has undertaken a full Fellowship in blood-related disorders, such as anaemia and sickle cell disease.
