MBA students complete final course overseas
Nine MBA candidates travelled to Florida to complete their final course prior to graduation.
The students travelled to Nova Southeastern University's (NSU) main campus to participate in a capstone course set by its affiliate, the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship.
The course is the final programme requirement before graduation.
Bermuda Housing Corporation deputy manager Barrett St. Vincent Dill was one of the participants.
He said: "The NSU programme fit ideally into my busy schedule, enabling me to attend traditional learning in a classroom setting.
"I found the faculty members at NSU very knowledgeable and a credit to the university with their years of experience not only in teaching, but the years spent in the business community honing their skills."
D. Lloyd Christopher, chief financial and operations officer at the Bermuda College was another member of the Bermuda contingent.
"With the knowledge I have gained from the courses, I am able to perform my duties at the college more effectively and design ways of moving the organisation forward," he said adding that it enabled him to mature as a leader and manager.
The graduation ceremony is scheduled to take place in Bermuda in May.
