Thinking pink at 'cool little beach event'
The Pink Party promises to be more delicious than ever, says organiser Belcario Thomas.
For five years, Bermuda has come together to mix, mingle and enjoy one another's company at the South Beach styled, open aired Pink Party at Snorkel Park Beach.
"I'm really excited that Unite Promotions has been a vehicle for bringing expats, locals, and tourists of like backgrounds together for several years as inspired by my travels with Up With People," he said.
"With the current social climate as it is, and the Island in my opinion, is needing to exhale, a cool little beach event with good music, food, drinks and great people in a safe setting may be a decent recipe for your Saturday night."
This year's Pink Party will feature a mega beach bar to quench everyone's thirst, specialty bars, a late night kitchen menu, an audio visual DJ infused set and light show with the Island's top DJs.
"Playing will be Deejay Choice to Chubb, OB1, Kaos, Blackstar, YGS sound and guest hosts, along with fashion by A.B. Dolce Productions, male models, female dancers, poi spinners, high end giveaways from Cycle Care, CellularONE and the iStore with touches of decor by Designer Flowers all at the ever improving Snorkel Park Beach."
Transport has been sorted with fast ferries up on the hour from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Snorkel Ferries back at 3.30 a.m. for $5.
As with every year with the Pink Party, Unite Promotions and Snorkel Park Beach donate part proceeds to the Bermuda Cancer and Health Association in honour of Mr. Thomas' mother Clara (Pinkie) Thomas.
Dress is beach chic or funky n pink.
Tickets $40 are available at the iStore, CellularOne, Hamilton and Music World. More at the door.
