You can help with clothing drive

The Business and Professional Women's Association of Bermuda is hoping to help women dress for success with a clothing drive tomorrow.

The organisation is holding a suit drive for women who are less fortunate. The idea is that potential employees are much more likely to land the job of their dreams if they make a good first impression during the interview period.

"Many women who are starting over do not have access to expensive professional clothing," said BPWA president Patty-Ann Flood.

"If you have women's business suits, handbags, outfits and office attire which is collecting dust in the back of your closet, we will gladly take your new or gently used items and donate them to women in need so they too can dress for success."

Donations can be made at the BPSU building on the corner of Cedar Avenue and Angle Street between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. For more information e-mail bpwabermuda@yahoo.com.
