The programme including ‘Jolly Old St. Nicholas’, ‘Away in a Manger’, ‘Good King Wenceslas’ and ‘Jingle Bells’.For some of the children, it was their first public performance since starting the music programme in September this year.Azarea Mouchette and Miniya Wainwright, both aged nine, said they felt "very nervous" when they saw all the seniors waiting for them. "I felt my heart skip a beat," said Azarea, "but I felt better when I started to play."Miniya agreed and added: "I'm glad that we made the senior citizens happy and it was nice to see many of our parents there as well to listen to us."All the children are now working hard preparing for their Christmas Concert which will take place on Wednesday December 12 at 5.30pm, in the Queen Elizabeth Hall.
