Don’t forget to head to the town of St George tomorrow evening for the Bermuda National Trust Christmas Walkabout.

Visit some of the oldest continually occupied buildings in the New World — Samaritans’ Lodge, Buckingham, Tucker House, the Globe Hotel and the Old Rectory will all be decorated in honour of the annual family event.

Santa Claus will pay an early visit to the East End, and musicians, dancers and singers will take to the stage at King’s Square.

“The excitement and romantic yesteryear elegance that the Trust brings to St George’s should not be missed,” said a Trust spokeswoman. “There will be entertainment throughout the town and refreshments will be served at various locations marked on [a] map that will be distributed on the evening.”

She continued: “In support of St Peter’s Church food drive, we encourage you to drop off canned and non-perishable goods at Penno’s Wharf just after you park.”

The event runs from 6.30pm until 8.30pm.
