One thing that can be said about author Crystal Holdipp is that she writes from the heart.

Her latest collection of writings, Inspiring Moments: Encouragement for the Soul, aims to impact people’s lives and encourage them to reach their full potential.

It touches on those key life experiences which can change and teach you lessons in an instant, the author said.

Ms Holdipp originally set out to create a few single devotionals, but after others heard about the project they suggested she should publish it as a book.

The 144 page collection is filled with 30-day devotionals on everyday topics like: finding your purpose, having deeper intimacy with God, encouragement, wisdom, moving forward, temptation, being set apart and purity.

Ms Holdipp said: “I hope that each topic impacts lives and that encourages readers in their everyday situations, circumstances and choices.”

Also a singer, songwriter and speaker, Ms Holdipp has been able to write for a variety of different publications and websites both locally and overseas. Her first published book entitled Poems From the Heart was about everyday issues that impacted her as a teen, from depression to her feelings of rejection and the quest to feel beautiful and accepted.

She used that collection of writings to inspire others and give them hope for a brighter future.

Ms Holdipp is currently studying Comprehensive Creative Writing through the Writers Bureau.

A member of Core Ministries Church, she said her writing was a gift from God that she wanted to “give back to Him and share with others”.

Inspiring Moments, published by Shamonj Gifts LLC, is currently available on Kindle for $2.99. It will also be available at stores in hard copy for $20 in the near future.
