A 16-year-old Mount Saint Agnes student was arrested by Police on Monday on suspicion of possessing a controlled drug whilst on school property.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has posted bail and is scheduled to appear in Magistrates? Court this week.
Police spokesman Dwayne Caines said he could not comment on what charge the youth would be facing.
The boy was suspended from all classes by MSA principal Sister Judith Rollo.
