The Bermuda Hotel Association has named Elbow Beach general manager Frank Stocek as the Hotelier of the Year.

BHA chairman John Harvey noted that Mr. Stocek has "through passion and guidance" led the hotel through extensive renovations and refurbishments.

He also noted that over his five years at the hotel, Mr. Stocek has championed many causes within in the community.

"Mr. Stocek, who is also currently president of the BHA, continues to display a leadership and visionary role, not only for his hotel and its employees but for Bermuda as a whole," Mr. Harvey said.
