In focus: Bazarian International

Bazarian International is an investment banking firm based in Washington, D.C. which specialises in recommending luxury hotel or lodging brands for developments.

It has been behind a string of resort projects — mainly in the Caribbean — enjoying success in places including the Dominican Republic, the Cayman Islands and Turks and Caicos, Bora Bora and Anguilla.

At least two of its projects have been the world-renowned Ritz-Carlton resorts.

The group’s founder Carl Bazarian turned to the hotel resort business after acquiring a wealth of experience in investment banking services, mainly in the Caribbean, but also in countries in Europe and the Americas.

He has connections through banking assignments with hotels including the Four Seasons in Exuma and the Renaissance resort Ocho Rios, in Jamaica.
