$800 fine for .36 grams of cannabis resinA man pleaded guilty yesterday to possession of cannabis.
Mitchell Trott, 25, of Ballast Point Road, St George's, was fined $800 at Magistrates' Court.
Police arrested him in Hermitage Road, Devonshire, on November 10 after finding 0.36 grams of cannabis resin in his possession.

Ellwood Mouchette, 63, of Trackside Lane, Devonshire, pleaded guilty to impaired driving yesterday at Magistrates' Court.
The court heard Mouchette was heading west in a water truck along Parsons Road, Pembroke, on February 24 when he suddenly drove into the path of a Police car, causing the vehicle to swerve.
A blood test showed he had 215 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, the legal limit being 80.
Mouchette, who claimed he was "on medication" at the time, was banned for one year and fined $1,000.
