A man was robbed and left unconscious after a violent bathroom beating at a Court Street bar.

Police responded to a report of the attack just after 2 a.m. yesterday. The victim said after having a “few drinks,” he walked outside, where a man approached him and snatched a $100 bill from his hands and fled into the bar.

After chasing the thief, he found him in the bathroom where words were exchanged between the two before four other men entered and began beating the victim about his body.

Once the victim regained consciousness, he noticed $900 missing from his wallet. He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released. Police are investigating.
