Police probe trio of break-insThree residences were broken into over the weekend. The first break in was on Ferry Drive, St. George's, where cash and jewellery were stolen. The homeowner told Police the break in happened while she was at work.

The second occurred on North Shore Road, Pembroke. Police were told that a thief stole cash from the house while the owners were out.

On Saturday morning Police were called to St. John's Road, Pembroke, where a man told them someone broke into his house and took a silver Dell laptop computer, a gold chain, a modem and a cellular phone charger. Police are investigating the incidents.Tools stolen from construction sitesA White Sands Road construction site in Paget and another on Harbour Road, Paget, were robbed of tools.

Police received the report last Thursday at 11:35a.m. On arrival, officers spoke with the complainant who runs both sites. Police were told that sometime between Monday, April 9 and Saturday April 14, someone gained entry to both locations.

Inquiries continue.Man has a bag snatched from himThieves snatched a bag from a 45-year-old St. George's man as he walked along Wellington Street in St. George's.

The incident happened last Thursday near Tiger Bay at 11:15 p.m.

When Police attended, the victim said after passing three men, one of them approached him and grabbed his bag before all three of them ran towards Tiger Bay. He was not injured.

The black bag contained a Karaoke 'Magic Sing' microphone and the crooks were described as young, dark-skinned, one wearing a dark hooded jacket and another wearing an orange hooded jacket.

Police are investigating and are appealing for any witnesses to contact the Southside Police Station at 293-2222.
