‘Son of the Soil’ Dr. Pauulu Kamarakafego (Roosevelt Brown) will be memorialised on Parliament Hill today in a tree planting ceremony.

The late Dr.. Kamarakafego served in Parliament as a PLP MP from 1968-1972 but spent most of his life in developing countries around the world helping others towards sustainability and independence.

The tree planting ceremony will take place during the lunch break of the opening session of the House of Assembly at 12.30 p.m.
