A public school choir, which recently picked up two awards for its performances, is to be featured on a local cable tourism channel.
The youngsters aged seven to 11 from St. George’s Preparatory School won the Spring into Praise competition organised by the Seventh-day Adventist Church earlier this month for the second year running.
They also picked up an award for the most innovative and creative performance at the Spring into the Arts event held at Berkeley Institute in April.
Earlier this week, the 33 boys and girls in the choir were filmed for Look Bermuda, an information channel aimed at tourists.
Choir director Kim Simmons said: “They are a very well-trained choir. I’m very pleased and very proud of their progress.”
