Over the Bermuda Day holiday thieves targeted two homes in Warwick and another in Pembroke.

At 6.25 p.m. on Wednesday, Police attended a report of a burglary at a Euclid Avenue, Pembroke home where the complainant said between 5.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. an unknown culprit entered her home an stole jewellery. Later the same day, a silver 42inch Panasonic plasma TV with remote and a quantity of cash were reported stolen from an Ord Road, Warwick home.

The complainants said between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. that day an unknown culprit entered their home while it was unoccupied.

And on Thursday, at 9.10 p.m. Police attended a report of a burglary at a Spring Hill, Warwick home.

The complainant said sometime between 6:55am and 8:50pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied and stole a PlayStation 2 video game system as well as several DVDs, CDs and PlayStation games.

Inquiries into all three incident are underway.

Also over Bermuda Day, between 8 a.m. on Wednesday and 8 a.m. on Friday, three people were arrested on suspicion of and there were 7 reported burglaries (1 in Smith's parish, 2 in Pembroke, 1 in Paget and 3 in Warwick).

There were also 15 reported damage only road traffic collisions and eight reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury.

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their co-operation during May 24 which was relatively quiet with no major incidents reported.
