Teen robbed of his cellphone
A teenager was robbed of his cell phone on Friday. The 14-year-old boy told Police another teenager approached him as he was sitting on a wall and started talking to him about the phone. The thief, aged between 15 and 17 years old, then snatched his phone and a gold chain with a pendant in the shape of a cross.
A struggle ensued and the thief ran off, with the boy chasing after him. The 14-year-old sustained minor cuts to his right arm and left leg in the incident and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The robbery took place at 8.20 p.m. in the My Lord’s Bay Lane and Radnor Estate Road area of Hamilton Parish. The thief is described as black, about five feet, eight inches tall, of medium build and wore a grey-hooded jacket and dark coloured pants. He has two marks in each eyebrow.
