Cable channels knocked out

A satellite hit by lightning has affected some cable channels and Bermuda Cable Vision is asking its customers to be patient.

Bermuda Cable Vision General Manager Alan Smith said: “We would like to apologise to our customers for the interruption in service on a number of cable channels due to a satellite dish that was hit by lightning.

“Our technicians have been working on the situation for a few days and we hope to have it resolved within the next 24 hours. We apologise once again to our customers for any inconvenience.”
