Eleven talented students of the C.A.R.E Learning Centre have successfully graduated.The annual graduation and prize giving took place in St. Paul A.M.E Church, in Court Street. Guest speaker Senator Davida Morris, Junior Minister of Social Rehabilitation and Community and Cultural Affairs, gave the students her three Ps of success."I want to share with you some of the things that have helped me achieve my goals. I hope they will help you do the same. They are my three Ps for a highly productive life. These are principles that have aided me in getting to the point where I am now and they are the same principles that I know will lead me to continued success.

Eleven talented students of the C.A.R.E Learning Centre have successfully graduated.

The annual graduation and prize giving took place in St. Paul A.M.E Church, in Court Street. Guest speaker Senator Davida Morris, Junior Minister of Social Rehabilitation and Community and Cultural Affairs, gave the students her three Ps of success.

"I want to share with you some of the things that have helped me achieve my goals. I hope they will help you do the same. They are my three Ps for a highly productive life. These are principles that have aided me in getting to the point where I am now and they are the same principles that I know will lead me to continued success.

"My three P's are planning, perseverance and prioritising."

This year's graduates were Aaron Foggo, who received a perseverance award, Steve Lawrence, Jaircybio Ratteray, Randall Raynor, Damion Swann, Jenae Viera, who received an award for highest score in Science and Mark Williams.

The Training and Employment Services Graduate was Recquel Furbert and the Young Black Males Programme (labour & training) graduates were Orlando Blair, who was also presented with a special award for getting in the top 1 percent worldwide in the GED (General Education Development) examinations and Deon Gibbons, who also received a special award for language skills and reading.

Ebony-LaShuntae Leverock, a home-schooled student also received a Special Mention.

A $800 scholarship was also gratefully received by Debraleon Adamson from Mr. Butterfield and his family, being "especially pleased to recognise our celebration of 25 years of enhancing and encouraging education in Bermuda".
