POLICE are investigating a theft after a burglar broke into a Tribe Road No. 2, Warwick home yesterday and made off with a quantity of cash.The complainant told police the culprit gained entry to her home some time between 12.45 a.m. and 5.30 a.m.
Police also responded to a burglary at a First Avenue, Devonshire home on Wednesday.
According to the complainants, a thief broke in while it was unoccupied — some time between 6.30 a.m. and 4 p.m. that day — and stole a black IBM laptop computer, a quantity of jewellery and cash.
Police were also called to a Victoria Street, Pembroke construction site after a thief broke into an office on the premises some time between 7 p.m. on Tuesday and 6 a.m. on Wednesday.
A silver Acer laptop computer, a Metabo hammer drill and Makita mini-grinder blades were stolen.
Inquiries into all three incidents are under way.
