THE St. George’s Foundation is a registered charity founded in 1997 with the aim of raising funds for St. George’s and the surrounding forts. It led the effort to secure the Old Town World Heritage Status from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) in 2000.

At present, the Foundation is raising funds to complete The World Heritage Centre at Penno’s Wharf to provide educational assistance for visitors to St. George’s.
