Two men denied drug and drug equipment possession during an appearance in Magistrates’ Court. Their trial was set for October 30.

Ryan Frederick Swan, 24, and Ryan Michael Woods, 19, pleaded not guilty to seven drug-related charges. The pair, both from Devonshire, were jointly charged with possessing 56.02 grams of cocaine and 15.32 grams of cannabis with the intent to supply in Hamilton Parish on March 16. Swan pleaded not guilty to possessing 12.65 grams of cocaine and 18.32 grams of cannabis with the intent to supply. He was also charged with having drug equipment — a metal grinder, a knife or razor blade and an electronic scale on the same day in Devonshire. The men were granted $5,000 bail.
