Motorcyclist hurt

A 31-year-old man Hamilton parish motorcyclist was treated in hospital after colliding with a taxi on Thursday evening.
At 5.15 p.m., Police attended a road traffic collision at the junction of North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish and East Point Lane.
The Hamilton parish man had been travelling on a motorcycle east on North Shore Road when a taxi travelling in the opposite direction attempted to make a right hand turn and the two vehicles collided.
Police said the Hamilton Parish man sustained a back injury and was taken to the King Edward VII Memorial hospital while the driver of the taxi, a 55-year-old Sandy's parish man was not injured.
Inquiries into the incident are underway.
