Car ploughs into parked motorbikes

The driver of this car lost control of his vehicle when his accelerator became stuck, despite the serious damage done to the bikes that were parked on the road, no one was hurt.
A driver whose car collided with parked motorcycles in Hamilton yesterday lunchtime was uninjured.The accident happened near the junction of Point Pleasant Road and Front Street just before 1 p.m.A Police spokesman said details of how it happened were unclear but it resulted in damage to a number of vehicles. He said no further Police action was anticipated.
