Esso Tiger Mart on Par-la-Ville Road in Hamilton is closing today (Monday) until further notice.

The gas station, which reopened this year after refurbishment, posted notices in its windows at the weekend informing customers that it would shut as of 6 a.m. this morning.

"The management of Esso Bermuda apologises for any inconvenience this may cause and looks forward to seeing you again when the station opens," said the sign.

Ryan Minors, who was running the station as a franchise with George Swan, said the pair were not renewing their contract and the closure was due to a change of dealership.

Esso Bermuda could not be contacted for comment.
