Drug Commission to host forum on supply and demand
A meeting to discuss ways to reduce drug supply and demand on the Island will take place on Wednesday.
The meeting, held by the Department for National Drug Control (DNDC) will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Goodwin C. Smith Hall, New Testament Church of God on Union and Dundonald Streets.
It will be specifically to discuss the department's implementation efforts for supply and demand reduction as outlined in the National Drug Control Policies and Master Plan.
The DNDC encourages groups or individuals working on behalf of children and adolescents, those working to reduce crime on the Island, or counsellors involved with treating those who suffer from substance abuse to attend the meeting.
The Bermuda Police Service, HM Customs and the Family Learning Centre will all be in attendance.
