Bermuda squad for Dubai tour announced

Youngsters Kamau Leverock and Damali Bell have been named in Bermuda's squad for the trip to Dubai next month.

Kyle Hodsell has also been handed a spot in the 15-man group which was announced this morning by head coach David Moore.

Bell has been rewarded for his hard work in training, which came on the back of an impressive season for Cleveland this summer.

Leverock meanwhile has been drafted in as a late replacement for Terryn Fray, who was originally selected, but has withdrawn because his grandfather is ill.

As expected Delyone Borden and Rodney Trott are the two spinners in the side, and along with Malachi Jones, Stefan Kelly, Jordan Desilva and Jim West make up a strong bowling attack.

Bermuda will play five games in the space of seven days against UAE in Dubai in January, with the first match due to take place on January 4, and the last on January 10.

Bermuda squad: D Hemp, J Anderson, D Bell, D Borden, F Crockwell, L Cann, J Desilva, C Foggo, k Leverock, K Hodsell, M Jones, S Kelly, D Stovell, R Trott, J West.
