Telemaque set for PS role
Government will announce changes in the Civil Service executive next week, according to Cabinet Secretary Donald Scott.
The Royal Gazette understands former Cabinet Secretary Marc Telemaque is to be appointed permanent secretary of National Security.
Mr Telemaque has been expected to take a senior Government post following Mr Scott's appointment as Cabinet Secretary on November 12.
Appointed by Ewart Brown at the beginning of his tenure as Premier, Mr Telemaque also doubled as acting head of the Civil Service after the resignation of Kenneth Dill in September.
The Ministry of National Security, led by David Burch, oversees the Bermuda Regiment, the Bermuda Police, Bermuda Fire and Rescue Services, as well as the Department of Immigration and the Bermuda Housing Corporation.
Government yesterday would not confirm Mr Telemaque's appointment to the position.
